Recieved his M.S. degree in physics (quantum electronics and laser physics) from Sofia University in 2010.

Title of the M.S. thesis:  Investigation of the nonlinear optical properties of TeO2-Bi2O3-GeO2-glass  by modified z-scanner.

 

Received his PhD degree in Laboratory of Metal Vapor Lasers, Institute of Solid State Physics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, in 2014.

Present field of research: nonlinear optical effects, new materials, femtosecond laser systems.

Other research interests: laser physics, laser-matter interactions, physics of high-intensity optical fields, etc.

Foreign languages: English, Russian, Japanese
